About Emberwatch

Emberwatch is a free typing game. You keep a campfire burning through the night by typing the words on the monsters that come out of the dark. The twist: in Calm mode, monsters only move when you make a typo, so the game rewards careful, accurate typing instead of raw speed. Rush mode adds the pressure of monsters that walk on their own.

It works for young kids learning their first sight words and for adults who want a typing challenge. There are no accounts, no downloads and nothing to buy. Everything runs in your browser.

Word lists: SCOWL by Kevin Atkinson, and the Dolch sight words. Every list is filtered to be suitable for kids.
